Every once in a while, you look around and realise the world has become incredibly grey. High-street fashion has gotten boring. Identical. Conformist. We are collectively sick of the monotony and the total lack of creativity.

Dandy Donkey was born right in the heart of Schaerbeek, Brussels, a place of beautiful extremes, stunning Art Nouveau architecture, and a vibrant, multicultural soul. We built this brand to inject raw colour back into urban life.

Our Mission

We believe urban life is too vibrant for cookie-cutter mass production. We also know that the world is full of brilliant creative minds, graphic designers and photographers who studied the craft but never got the opportunity to make a living from it. Creative schools teach you how to design; they rarely teach you how to do marketing, set prices, or sell.

We are here to bridge that gap. By handling the business side of things, we give raw creative talent the global stage they deserve, while giving you true aesthetic independence.

Building something from scratch is deeply enriching, but let’s face it—it is incredibly tough. As a solo entrepreneur, I am hitting one wall after the other, finding solutions, learning, and growing every single day. But compromise isn't an option.

We do things differently through smart, localised European manufacturing:

Yes, print-to-order means your clothing takes a few extra days to arrive. But this intentional process eliminates the criminal waste of mass overproduction. More importantly, it shifts the power to you. It gives you the absolute freedom to choose the bold colours and designs that match your unique vibe.

While we prepare for the real revolution after the summer break (where we will officially onboard our first wave of independent artists and launch our WallArt collection) our very first limited apparel and sign drops are waiting for you.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Quentin van den Hove.

After more than 20 years in the private sector (including co-starting a tech spin-off) and 4 years in the public sector, I decided it was time to build something completely from scratch that brought real value to the community.

I love design, architecture, photography, and travel. I live in Schaerbeek with my beautifully chaotic, recomposed family comprising 4 girls, a dog, 4 distinct nationalities, and a household buzzing with multiple languages (including two of the girls learning Chinese!).

Dandy Donkey blends my decades of business and structures experience with a passion for human creativity. I’m handling the logistics, the tech, and the grind, so our future creators can focus entirely on their art.
